Hello, fellow web surfer. My name is Luke Brookhart. I
have developed this website as a showcase for the things
in my life that are most important to me. First of all,
nothing is more important in my life that my relationship
with Jesus Christ. To learn more
about it, visit my faith page.
The next most important thing to me is my beautiful
wife, Alison
Brookhart. Alison is the most amazing and wonderful
friend a guy could ever hope for and dream of. Every
day I wonder how I could be blessed enough to get the
opportunity to spend my life with her. She is very special
to me and I love her with all my heart. We are got
married at 11:00 AM on July 19th, 2003, and have
been married for
3125 days, 7 hours, 48 minutes, 29 seconds . If you'd like to know more about Alison
and me, visit The
Brookhart Family Website.
As you can tell, I am very passionate about the things
in my life. First of all, the people that have contributed
to making me the person I am today are very close to
me. I am forever grateful to my Dad, Mark
Brookhart, and my Mom, Lynn
Brookhart. Both parents truly showed me what it
meant to live a fulfilling life and to work hard for
the things I want to achieve. My father taught me the
most important lesson in life when he showed me that
if I didn't know how to do something I needed or wanted
to do, that I could at least learn how to figure it
out and make it happen. Without this teaching at a young
age, I would never have been able to figure out so many
things including web development, photography, music,
and so much more.
Here's a little background on the life of Luke.
I was born June 9th, 1982, and grew up in Arkansas
and Texas until I was about 5 years old. My dad is a
pastor and has been ever since I was born. We moved
to New Jersey, where I spent all my adolescent years.
I went to King's Academy Christian school from 1st through
12th grade. Throughout my time in school, I engaged
in many activities such as drama, worship band, gospel
clowning, basketball, etc. After graduating high school
a year early, I attended Burlington
County College and graduated with a degree in Computer
Information Systems. After finishing school, I took
a job with Cendant
Mortgage, where I currently work. I am a Mortgage
Consultant at Cendant, and help people finance the American
Dream.
I have recently moved from New Jersey to New York,
bought a home in Apalachin, and work from home as a
telecommuter to Cendant Mortgage. I moved here so that
I could get married Alison and so she could continue
to study nursing even after we got
married in July. I'm currently working a lot with
Cendant Mortgage and in my spare time, develop web
sites like this and spend time with Alison. If you'd
like to learn more about me, feel free to contact
me anytime via the email form on the contact
page.
